Hi folks! I'm fairly new to raising poultry and brand new to raising ducks. I live in beautiful northern Vermont which tends to be quite chilly in the winter. I was wondering if anyone knew of what the best ways to keep ducks warm throughout those cold nights would be?
Thank you so much!

Ducks are surprisingly hardy in cold weather, something I learned the hard way by trying to overcompensate. As already well stated, a dry coop is your best bet. They do enjoy straw to bed down in as well.

I do the deep litter method in the winter with straw I live in the Hudson valley in ny and it gets cold here in the winter as well. If they get cold they will huddle together in the straw which you want to make sure you keep everything dry as previously stated
