I noticed last night that two of the chicks had bulging crops. Upon inspection, they felt a bit squishy. They were not like this that morning. This morning they may have been a bit smaller, but were still large. The chicks had already been up eating when I checked on them at 5am and when I refreshed their food, they rushed over and ate. So, I am not sure if this is sour crop or if they are just little piggies.

Here is what I was thinking of doing - isolating the 2 in a different box with paper towels or a puppy pad instead of shavings and only plain water (no ACV). No food except for some yogurt with active cultures. See if crop goes down and look at poop.

If crop feel squishy still, start the monistat treatment... Feed scrambled eggs with olive oil.

Is this what I should do?

They were not any better at lunch. One's crop felt firmer than the other's, but was still huge.

They have been moved into their own box. Only have access to heat, plain water, and Activia yogurt. Tried to get a sliver of Monistat down them. Will check on them after work. Taking the day off work tomorrow to clean house for company this weekend, so I should be able to monitor them more if they are still alive.

Saw a blue silkie was limping a bit, so I put it in there with them so it wouldn't get stepped on as much. I had put in the trough type feeder with the holes today instead of plates and I think it might have gotten injured on it. So, back to plates and hoping it is just a sprain that will heal up. I could not find anything when examining it.
