Countdown begins! Day 1 (Will Update)

My hen went broody yesterday she has 8 eggs under her. I also sent off 5 eggs to a friend of mine to hatch also was started yesterday. I sent my eggs off before I knew my hen went broody. So we will see what hatch rate we get I am hoping a good rate. Will keep this updated countdown to 21 days Iv counted the 24th this is only the secound time Iv hatched eggs. lastime my hen set on 4 eggs and out of the 4 3 hatched. so cant wait for the turn out this time. My aunt has 2 silkies and they lay like crazy but have not began to set for her. She told me your hen has set twice for you now and my hens havent at all. Guess im just lucky! My Hen loves eggs a sight of an egg and she wants to sit on it she even sits on fake eggs..LOL

MY hen is broody and I just put some Fizzle eggs under her....

I hope she stays all 21 days.

LOL I'm on day 7!!!!!!!! I am so excited the wait is gonna drive me nuts!
Here is my hen on the nest with her 7 week old chick she hatched 7 weeks ago.

my broody lets me mess with her so I picked up a couple of eggs and candled! Ohhh I love seeing babies!
What day are yours due?
Mine are due on the 26th of August

LOL, I havent candled yet my hen dosent like to be messed with. My eggs are due to hatch the 24th and 25th!
