Crowing
My babies came the other day. They all arrived happy and healthy
. I received an extra chick I’ve been trying to figure out what she is. Any ideas?

Mt healthy I have been hoping she is a speckled Sussex. We ordered a blue laced red Wyandotte a splash maran and an Easter eggerLooks like an Easter-egger, but just to double-check, where did your chicks come from?
She doesn’t have a straight comb like my maran. Can you get a clearer picture of her comb and face? And maybe a shot of her legs as well?
Thank you for the help another colored egg layer is never a bad thing!I'm pretty sure she's an Easter-egger, then! A Speckled Sussex would have the same comb type as the Marans and should be marked just a little bit differently than this.
Yay! Good luck! Hatching is so much fun! Be sure to let us know how it goes and post pictures.First time incubator. Been reading and learning a lot. I'm in here today trying not to stare down the incubator as it is day 21 and I'm hoping for pipping. Last day we candles before lockdown there was movement. When I arrived this morning to "babysit" (my sister has cats so if they start to pip we don't want a curiosity disaster) they are very still, I hope this means they are resting (we have two eggs left out of the dozen we started with) 6 were infertile from the start 2 started then stopped almost immediately, 2 got bacteria now we just have the 2 that made it to day 21. I hope they both hatch and all goes well.
