Thanks for that! I was going to use filtered water from my refrigerator, but it comes out cold! Maybe I can heat it up in the microwave first. Or is tap water okay?

Driving! We're moving with 7 people and flying would be much more expensive.. we're going to rent a UHaul and have 3 cars driving lol. One of the cars will be full of the millions of pets we own haha. It will be a while until then, though, so the ducklings will probably be fully grown

City Water. We filter it ourselves before we drink it. It's safe for humans but I don't trust it.

Warmed, unfiltered city water is fine for them.

And yes, I bought Purina Flock Raiser based on suggestions here, and also purchased Brewers Yeast to supplement their feed. I also bought some chick grit to offer in a separate bowl.

I personally only have the ducklings and a bearded dragon.

In our household there are 2 dogs, 3 cats, 2 birds, 2 rabbits, my bearded dragon and soon to be my 2 ducklings.

For safety reason the ducklings will be kept separated from the cats and dogs, at least until they are much older/bigger and then we may introduce them (but not likely).

Make sure your heat lamp can't accidently touch the side of your tote looking at pics it looks close
