Couple A Cockerels?

Happy Saturday BYC!!

What’s the vote here on my 8 week old Easter Eggers? Both sold as pullets from tractor supply. I was hoping at least one was a hen but now am not so sure no cockerel behavior as far as I can tell so far. Thanks everyone!

8 weeks is too early for sex-specific saddle feathers. *Some* early-maturing boys might show their saddles by 10 weeks, but 12-16 is more normal.

That said, some color patterns trick the eye into seeing points where no points exist. To get an idea of the true shape of patterned hackles and saddles you can put your hand or a piece of paper under them so you can see the outline of the feather itself and not just the shape of the colored portion.
