Covering suggestions for my run

Hi all. I am building a new run and I'd like to partially cover it. What materials has anyone used to cover their runs? Years ago I tried a tarp but that didn't last long and held water during a rain. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

What is your predator situation? We are rural and our run is covered with hardware cloth. Its the only thing the coons havent been able to get through.

they make a shade clotht he is a fiarly tight weave and gives sunprotection but still allows moisture and such to get through....not so much with snow. to deal with snow and water holding issues try putting it up like a typical solid roof with a pitch...

I use some bird nettings tuff for aviaries...they also use it to protect trees from birds...mine is a bit heavier than what that stuff ususally is

I use corrugated metal for my runs. Sturdy and lightweight. Easy to install.

We used the leftover corrugated metal cover sheets from our pole building to cover part of the run the rest is covered with 2" x 2" wire that the whole run is made from.

I use polycarbonate panels, slanted so that water runs off.
