Cowboys and Mustangs ~~~ Roleplay ~~~ NEW!!!!

Nymph nudged the newborn until it staggered to itself hooves. It promptly collapsed from there. The paint nudged the foal again, nickering, "Come on, little one. Stand up. You're all I have left from your sire."

"Nymph's Fortune, huh? I like it," Cyril said, continuing with his job of feeding. "Now you can halter-break the dam and the filly."
Alice smiled watching the filly "Yeah, get them used to it together." She checked Nymphs feed and water, then moved to West Wind to check hers.

Fortune climbed to her hooves just as Nymph was giving the foal another firm nudge. The newborn went staggering forward, bonking her head against the wall. Fortune gave a surprised squeak and stood on wobbly legs.

Nymph nickered apologetically. Being a new dam was a nerve-wracking experience. She picked up her head to gaze at Dakota. "You're in for this same experience, palomino."

"Dakota. It's Dakota, pinto," Dakota snorted.

Nymph shook her head and nudged Fortune, who was finally taking her first meal. She nickered back at West Wind then looked at Dakota. "Your name should be Skulker, since you skulk around at night with stallions behind your...what's the word...human's back."

"That is none of your concern!" Dakota whinnied. She pinned her ears, glaring across the barn at Nymph. "Cyril knows I get out at night." She tossed her head. "He just doesn't know about my being with Outcast."

Cyril stopped in the middle of the aisle, looking from Nymph to Dakota. He looked at Alice. "Mare-talk?"

"Must be" Alice said looking from one to the other "Must be congratulating her on her foal"

Outcast snorted from his stall." Aint like you didnt hang with stallions when you were penned up" he whinnied to Nymph.
Cyril listened a moment longer then finished-up his chores. He walked toward Alice. "Ready to head in? I'm starving."

Dakota swished her tail angrily and diverted her attention to her hay, chewing a mouthful roughly.

Nymph turned to Outcast. "I have never been penned-up in my life until I arrived here. If you didn't notice, I was in-foal when I arrived. I have not been with a stallion since mine was killed."

The pinto lowered her head to Fortune and nickered lovingly. The newborn had stopped suckling and now stood, sleepy-eyed at its dam's side.

" You were stayin with that stallion though." Outcast snapped.
"You mean the one who keeps trying to free me? I had just met him when I was captured." Nymph shook her head. "I was already pregnant when I met him. This foal isn't his, and I have never been with him. Unlike you and the sneaky palomino."

Alice looked around and nodded "Yeah, let's go in"

West Wind snorted "It's natural, leave her alone, Outcast"
