"Thanks. I appreciate it. That den was just way to much room for just one little coyote. " she smiled, suddenly very unsure of herself. Taakaa realized she had never talked to an alpha before. She didn't know how to act.

Tango smiled. "Come'on." He said, flicking his tail, and picked up his vole heading back to camp.

Taakaa padded softly behind him. She admired his tail, and caught herself before she giggled outloud.

Tango glanced behind him, smiling. "This way." He said, and bounded across a river.

Taakaa followed him, keeping up till she slipped on a rock in the river. 'Ow!" She cried out. "My paw is stuck between two rocks!"

Tango leaped back, and clawed at the rocks. He ducked his head under water, clamping his teeth and pulling with all his might.

Taakaa tried to push against the rocks. Trying to free her paw. why does this always happen to me!? she thought to herself as she struggled.

Tango jerked his head out of the water, gasping for air. He plunged again, and felt the rock move. "Pull!" He gurgled in the water.

Tango jerked his head out of the water, gasping for air.  He plunged again, and felt the rock move.  "Pull!" He gurgled in the water. 

She pulled with all her might. She felt the rock budge. She pulled harder, and she fell back into the water as the rock gave way. Taakaa was clinging to an exposed root to keep from sinking.
