Coyote Creek and feed dust

Yes I have oyster shell available for them free choice. It's been out since I got my first egg last year. Also, with the higher protein, I don't have to worry about any treats cutting the protein down too much. Mine don't free range (yet, still need to get a couple of fences up), but I do give them veggies, fruit, meat & leftovers. I also use their scratch and the girls really like it.

This is very timely. I also used Coyote Creek, and, not only the laying pellets, but the hen scratch was full of dust too. I sent them a note on their website and, like you, got a very courteous reply, suggesting that it may have been at the end of the run, etc. I switched to H&H out of Buda, TX and their pellets and scratch are fantastic. They're not certified Organic, but they claim no GMO and they're soy free. I have my brooder chicks on medicated starter, and my laying hens on laying pellets and scratch. http://handhsoyfreenongmofeed.com/
