One girl (my SS) got grabbed and mauled pretty badly, but she LIVED, and is doing well 3 days later. I think the coyote ran into the electric netting I have around my young pullets, and dropped the hen. I can't believe she lived! My dog chased it way way into the woods, but now I am afraid to let my birds free range. I guess we've been lucky till now....
