Coyote?

Raptors can get pretty big and may swoop down and nab him with ease then may take elsewhere to eat and since you say it was at night maybe a nocturnal raptor like an owl?

I don't think there are any bobcats around us and I doubt that the hawks here could have gotten him. I want to do a stake out with a shotgun tonight. Anyone else in for the fun? Lol.

Sure, I could be up there in about 15 hours!!

I am unsure what it would be but being from Michigan too I agree no bobcats around that far south. Could be a coyote though. We have had a huge boom of foxes here in Michigan the last couple of years too. We saw at least 3 on the highway headed home from up north and only 1 was dead. This is the first time my entire life of seeing foxes on the highway. We also see them all the time around our ares also now. It used to be really rare to see one.

I'm thinking fox or coyote. I don't know what else it could be. Everyone is ticked at me tonight because they all got penned up early. It's weird though. Whatever it was that got my pekin drake got it within a two hour time frame. Everyone else seemed fine. They didn't seem to be shaken up or nervous or anything. It's been like that with all three of my birds. I don't get it. It's like they just walked away, judging by the behavior of the rest of the flock.
