Obviously, we all feel your loss. SO many birds to lose at one time.

I am going to suggest 6 foot chain link fence, buried 1 foot in the ground.
you can run an electric wire, coyote height, around the perimeter.
I wish there was a guru on here that coordinated flock reestablishment, I know most would be glad to help.
Sorry you didn't find any.
BTW, if it is 2 legged coyotes, will the County let you shoot THEM? I know the protect they four-legged critters.

I WOULD GET A DOG THEN CALL THE GAME WARDEN AND EXPLAIN WHAT HAPPENED WHEN WILD LIFE BECOMES A PROBLEM STATES SOMETIMES WILL HELP WITH LIVE TRAPS TO REMOVE THESE PROBLEMS.

Sorry for Your Loss... Here in Tn they are considered a pest with year round/no limit hunting allowed. If you haven't verified with your local Game Warden or Wildlife Officer I would do that pronto to see if they are really protected there. If so, well then there is a way round that

Call the Wildlife Services (underneath the USDA). They are a federal agency that deal in Wildlife/pest removal and help you obtain a WS-37 permit which allows you to legally bypass Laws and deal with the coyote problem. If not then they can probably do it themselves. Hope this helps

Wow this s beyond sad, I am genuinely sorry for your loss. My dad buried corrugated tin sheets half a meter down on the perimeter of his run and used galvanized wire ten feet high. you needed wire cutters to get in. it worked. He also had a cement foundation in the chicken house. I hope some kind chicken lovers will help you replenish your hens. I only have one French Maran and she is beautiful so good luck. plus I am in the UK. if I could help I would. I was also wondering if a baby monitor in their house would at least alert chicken owners when this type of attack is going on. Take care xxx
