Coyotes!!!!

Around here they are not tolerated, shot on site, every month of the year. most people hunt them in the winter when the fur is good, fur market is not what it once was with 100.00 dogs everybody was after them. The best way is to find the dens, set traps or shoot them. My kids are free to roam, packing their longbows, and pellet guns. Their arrows would kill one the pellet guns just give them courage. The boys do report any dens or tracks then we take care of it. The fur is beautiful, everybody should have one, makes for a lot less problems with them.
all our birds free range year round,we lose a few as expected, but we take care of the predators before it gets to be a big problem, we have very few repeat offenders.

You could get Bear spray my Daddy says is really good to scar away animals it sprays about 20 to 30 feet I think. ( We never had chickens so I don't know if it will work.)
