Critically-endangered Crevecoeur breeder
Y'all may know Michele Cockerel. He's my earliest-maturing, largest 4.5 mo. Crèvecœur, an endangered breed on the Livestock Conservancy critical list. Out of my 3 cockerels raised to breed, he is the one I'm rehoming. He's an ultra exotic bird, but I'll give consideration because I want him to go to a good home.
Gentle by nature, he has been know to pinch on occasion because he's more high-strung than the others. That said, he is personable and submissive to humans. He likes containment per his breed and conforms well for breeding stock, but his comb seems to have an extra horn, which may or may not resolve as he matures over the next few months.
I've hand-raised him from a day-old chick from Greenfire Farms, a hatchery of fine international repute. Crèvecœurs are gentle and gorgeous with fine bones and word-class meat. If you're a breeder or hobbyist near St. Augustine, Contact me to find out more.
