Crabgrass Application, when can my chicks free range

So our lawn people came yesterday morning and put down "crabgrass application" I don't know what brand they used so I'm wondering would it be safe to let them out 24 hours after since no "keep pets off" directions came with this like it does for fertilizer or should I wait till after it rains, which would be tomorrow?

Find out what was used and look it up, get the MSDF, and/or call your ag extension office. Herbicides aren't 'nice', or safe to be around, or pleasant if they turn up in eggs. Mary

'Keep pets off for xxxx days' usually doesn't apply to food animals.
I'd wait a week with good rain, meanwhile I'd cancel any lawn spraying.
But that's just me...and I don't free range or put chemicals on my land.
