I wonder why we even grow corn. We can't even digest it completely. Can any animal?

Please stop perpetuating the Old Wive's Tale that corn magically makes animals warm in winter, it is not true.

I think we grow it because it is used in many products, like animal feed, and people like eating it. I was never a big fan of corn myself though, it tasted too corny.
