Crack corn

No !!!! not enough nutritional value and a few other important things chickens need to maintain good health. There was a thread going not to long ago that discussed the subject in detail. The basic end result was birds fed on a diet of straight cracked corn looked like european runway models if you get my drift, Compared to properly fed birds that looked like very healthy fat & sassy chickens.

My understanding from all the posts here is that it does not provide all the nutrition that they need. It is more of a tasty supplement than a complete diet. Also, they will need some grit to help digest the corn. They certainly like it though!

Ok thank you all for the advice. I have them on layena layer crumbles right now.
