Yes, they bite and stink and swarm. So far no swarm, thank goodness, just a few scouts. I usually spritz them with lemon juice or lemon oil, Dawn dish soap and water. Kills them quick but makes a mess. Have not heard of anything else that works. And they don't come back for years!
