crack egg wax drip????

I have recently read a thread saying that you can drip wax on a broken egg in order to hatch it. Well my questions are: does it work? What kind of wax do you use and how much? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Is does work some times, candle wax or what ever wax. (I had a friend use a crayon) and just enough to cover the crack.

I used a crayon on one a hen had cracked a few days before it's hatch date. It worked great with no problems.

I've had a dot of super glue work too. I figure they use it to sew you up why not try it (and my mother said to) and a couple hatched but the whole hatch was low due to shipping.

I just use a piece of scotch tape and worked great. I once dropped a egg and it started bleeding put tape on it and it still hatched
