You can give it to them as a treat, but it has little to no nutritional value; it's basically just a filler. Make sure they have plenty of grit if you do give them grains/seeds of any kind.

Try to give it to them in very small pieces. so they wont choke i=on it.

Mine love cracked corn. I give it to them 2 or 3 times a week, and they eat it all down
