Cracked duck egg

So yesterday one of my cats got into the room where my incubator is and knocked the incubator down. I had 2 ducks eggs in there and egg #1 was cracked completely open and couldn’t be saved. Egg #2 has some very small hairline cracks up by the air cell. I did some research on what to do for cracks and read to put candle wax on it, so I did. The remaining egg is on day 13. Has anyone had experience with using candle wax on cracked eggs? Did the egg end up hatching? I really hope this little guy makes it..

If no bacteria infiltrated the egg, it may very well hatch. Good luck.
