Hello! It’s my first time hatching eggs and am down to 5 out of my original 16... I realized an egg had a slight hairline crack in it on day 12, put wax on it and saw a chick moving inside. It is now day 15 and it seems like there is two air cells on both the big and little end and I can’t see anything inside. It has oozed a bit but I was thinking this was just from the crack... is it bad? I have moved it over to a separate incubator, away from the rest of the viable eggs.

I can’t see movement, but the Shell is also largly covered in wax so it’s difficult to see through.

It’s also not really oozing..I think it leaked through the crack.

Unless it broke the membrane, there shouldn't be anything to "leak". And if it did break the membrane, it would have died. So could it be melted wax?

If you could get pictures next time you candle, we can probably figure out what's going on.

No definitely not melted wax, it’s yellow vs the white wax... would it have definitely died if it broke the membrane? I’ve read stories where it has bled but not died! I’m trying to be hopeful :-/
