Cracked egg - Day ten - Can it survive?

Broody hen cracked an egg badly on day ten of incubation. Membrane semems to be unharmed. I am attaching two images. The chick is still alive and I can see and feel movement. Can anything be done? Thanks...

A lot people put wax on there cracked eggs and have work in some cases but I'm not sure because the membrane is showing. I'll try to find someone to help you.

Since a hen is setting on it, I would discard as it may break and soil the nest. In an incubator I would cover the cracked area with tape and give it a try.

Thanks. I have moved the egg into an incubator. I will give taping a try.

Now that it's cracked, it can break easily and get the other eggs wet and ruin their chance of surviving. I would discard it.

I was literally writing that you shoud put in into an incubator and then you posted that ! To help with the crack: wax, nail polish or tape should do. If it were me I would probably use wax.

Normally I would suggest wax, but with that much damage, I think tape would work better.
