Cracked egg..help me please

I went to put my egg back in the incubator and it dropped about two inches and now has a little crack on it. Will it be okay? Should i make a little makeshift incubator for just this one?

It could still be good as long as the drop did not injure the growing embryo. To seal the crack place a piece of scotch tape over it.
The egg should be fine with the rest of the batch. This method has worked successfully for me before.

You could also try some melted candle wax to seal the crack, if you're one of those people like me who cannot find where ya put the danged scotch tape but always has a candle burning somewhere in the house.....

I have also heard of people using warm, but not hot wax. Not sure how it did. Hope he/she's ok

I hatched a call duck that I had to use scotch tape on. It had a crack over an inch long but it didn't break the membranes.
