I had one buff orp egg from a batch received through the mail that was badly cracked. The membrane was not torn but the shell was too badly cracked to simply rub a little candle wax into the crack so I lit the candle and dripped liquid wax over the cracked area until I figured it was sealed. Four sisters/brothers hatched last night.
At noon the one with all the wax was rocking after we had taken the other four out!
