Cracked Egg! What do I do?

Glad I found this thread! We just had a hen hatch 3 babies, & have another who's 1st chick is hatching right now. We have had some eggs cracked early & had no idea what we could do. We will be trying the wax or Elmer's glue next time!

I used a old birthday candle and melted it over a 1/2" crack and 2 weeks later out popped a healthy Rhode Island Red chick. Worth a shot and best of luck......

Not wide....long...a garbage can will fix a 1/2" wide crack....

Has anyone ever melted a crayon over a crack, I had two hairline cracks on my pheasant eggs so used candle dripping wax
