I am only on day five I have an egg that shows development but it’s got a tiny crack in it. The crack happened sometime today and this is the second one to crack. The first one had no development so I tossed it. I figured out it’s my egg turner. These eggs were just a bit too large. So I took out every other row of the egg turner so no more will crack. My question is should I leave the cracked one alone for a few days and see if it still develops? This is my first time hatching chicken eggs I have hatched quail many times. Never had an egg break before.

You can try nail Polish, wax or liquid bandage to seal it. If it looks fine otherwise, it may still hatch.😊
