Cracked Shell, But Not Leaking

I found an egg on the coop floor this morning with a cracked shell. The liner on the inside was not punctured, therefore, the inside was contained and not leaking. Is the egg still good if cooked for breakfast tomorrow morning?
Also, one of my chickens layed a completely shell-less egg this morning. I took it from under her, brought in the house, and cooked it! I could actually bounce this egg on the kitchen counter, and see right through it. Strangest thing I've seen so far as a chicken keeper.

Generally I don't keep cracked shelled eggs, because I have so many eggs and there is a higher risk of bacteria in the cracked egg. That said, if you really want to eat it make sure it is scrambled and cooked so it is firm to reduce the risk of food poisoning.

That description of the bouncing shell-less egg is quite odd.

I will use cracked eggs as long as they aren't dirty and for baking. They don't keep so I either use them or they get fed back to the chickens or the dog. We have had shell less eggs but we have never tried to use them. Mostly my son just carried them around to show them off.

I figure if General Mills can use cracked eggs in their cake mixes then we can use them to bake--as long as they are clean and not leaking. Happens often if a lot of hens are sharing a few nest and/or the birds need a little more calcium. I hate to toss eggs--figure the birds have gone through a lot to produce them, the least thing we can do is use them. Just make sure they get refrigerated.
