Cracked, taped egg hatched!

I thought I would share this with everyone. At 10 days in the incubator, an egg got a large crack and an indention in the shell, but nothing was oozing from the shell. I covered it with NexCare Absolute Waterproof Tape. You can find it where you buy bandages. It went on smoothly with no wrinkes. Yesterday, the egg hatched, and I have a beautiful Brahma chick! The tape is still intact as seen in the photo. I hope this helps someone else with a cracked egg.
