Crafts with chicken feathers

Anyone got any good ideas that uses chicken feathers besides using them in cards? the seramas shed their feathers and I always find some real pretty ones what could I do with nice ones. Christmas is coming.

I have also seen feathers decorating the bottom of a lampshade...

You could make earrings from them, too.

I place one feather inside my egg crates that I sell. I have a small vase that I arrange with the different colored chicken feathers and just use it as a feather bouquet instead of flowers. I will also use the wild turkey feathers in my flower bouquets as accents.

I used a bunch of feathers on a scarecrow. The feathers really help it catch the wind and move with any breeze to help scare off any critters. My wife has used some smaller feathers in dreamcatchers.
