Well, uh, I bought her........ and she is currently in quarantine (although one of my other chickens doesn't seem well so I may need to find a second quarantine set up).
She was in with a flock of EEs, a Buff Orpington, and a Black Australorp, but all seemed to be crossed with something (the BO and BA had feathers on their legs). The family I bought her from had just purchased their flock from a farm the day before but wanted BRs instead of this one. I am no expert but the only thing that really looks rooster on this bird is the spurs. They original sellers claimed that it lays blue eggs and is only four months old. So, uh, it's a mystery. It does look like she might have some Houdan in her......
