Craigslist - FLAG IT - another one

It's back again on the original link. I've flagged it twice in the last 5 minutes.

Sarahbeth, Wild gave BYC permission to use that photo. SHe did not give permission for anyone else to use it. Just because it is in public domain, does not give anyone the right to use it for commercial gain. Public domain only means that you don't have to pay for downloading something for your personal use only.

How is he to know that she is the person in the picture. What, just because an email was sent. She does not own the picture. She took the risk of putting herself on the internet where anyone could use the picture due to it becoming public domain. He is not obligated to remove it. That should be a lesson learned. When it comes to manners and morals I'd say it's bad manners to post his name and email on a message board calling him a thief and asking everyone to flag his add. That could lead to more trouble for her than him since he didn't do anything wrong. Again I'll say if he were smart he would remove the picture because he's getting flagged and contacted.

Edited to remove flaming.

Edited to remove continuation of debate

I did another search on Craigslist Dallas and couldn't find one with my picture - I did find one where he had removed it.

7. No Fighting Taking a personal conflict to the forum is unacceptable. "I'm right, you're wrong" threads and posts will be edited or deleted.

Differences of opinion are acceptable, and healthy, respectful debate is allowed up to the point where it begins to break the BYC rules.

Consider this a warning. Individuals who continue their conflict in this thread -- or elsewhere on the forum -- will enjoy a short vacation from BYC.

If you cannot share your differences of opinion respectfully, I encourage you to stop posting in this thread or take your debate to PMs.
