I post under farm and garden, too, and I have never had one problem.
Apparently you have an obnoxious admin, but as the above poster said, if you change a few words the computer won't flag it as identical and you won't cause them any grief.

Just type in www.kijiji.com look for your city and post there. It's the same idea, free ads.

Those are the CL rules. You agree to them when you post. It's considered spamming to post the same thing in more than one area. You have to pick ONE area.

What I usually do is alternate. I'll make a post in one area, then a few weeks later I'll post in another area.

I only posted in farm and garden! They said I needed to post in services! I only posted these chicks in Raleigh. I have posted others in Fay. but not this time.When I repost after a couple of weeks always delete the first post!

Here in Denver area they're real easy. I see the exact same post sometimes only 10 or 12 lines down. With all the bad press t hey got over that guy in NY getting killed by someone that responded to his CL sex add. You would think they would try to be more helpful. I've bought and sold a lot on CL here.

Freecycle, much as I like it, has similarly draconian policies. It is, in essence, a bulletin board service moderated by regular people... who have a little bit of control handed to them.
Ditto craigslist, as I understand it.

If CL aint working for you, try the local penny shoppers where you live. I have the best results with those.
And even some ads placed at feed stores and bulletin boards around town can work.
Consider, too, local publications devoted to the hispanic community. Like it or not, they are here among us - and they love anything to do with chickens.
