i'm sorry about that. i thought just LA had weirdos flagging all the animal ads. You absolutely should be able to post chickens for sale under Farm and Garden. But you might have more luck listing a few at a time under the Pet section, asking for a nominal adoption fee. It's too bad there are a few people with too much time on their hands turning craigslist into their own personal pissing spot.

actually, there's someone that just doesn't like my bantam ad. i have 4 ads up. i always post my new ads up on monday and only on monday and throughout the week i get responses or questions. i always reply with a little addition of, "check out www.backyardchickens.com" lol

anyway, they've left the three alone but keep flagging my bantam ad. i've put it up 6 times and they've flagged it 6 times! lol

so i took an old ad i had taken off and changed the wording on it to reflect the bantam ad and reposted the ad. it's still up there.

i don't know what the problem is with the bantam ad. its not like it's for pets. and even if they say its for pets, then they'd have to take down all the horse ads. i mean, the people aren't buying and selling horses to be eaten...are they?

grant it, most people that buy chickens from me keep them as pets and just enjoy the eggs as icing on the cake. they can buy from me grown chickens that they didn't have to feed for months to get them laying, or only have to buy a couple to 10 instead of 25 plus shipping and handling. i don't know. maybe someones mad cuz sometimes certain girls i won't sell without roosters. shoot, roosters need lovin' too!
