Well. Make that one chick.
The weak one fell into the water face first. I even put rocks in to prevent that! he was just too weak to lift his head out. DH had to cull him as he was drowning but not gone when we tried to rescue him.

Sorry for the loss of your chick that drowned and you may need to get a few more chicks for your loner chick since it'll be cheeping alot or may become quiet since it will be looking for it's friend
