#7 was another light one, though I*m guessing ivory since they are not bright yellow. My fave is the little black one, he even has really dark legs. I hope he*s okay--it took him a long time to hatch and he came out of the smallest of the eggs and he*s noticeably smaller than the others. They are all in their new home and eating and drinking well, so keep your fingers crossed!

I*m letting the bator run for the rest of the day to see if there are any stragglers, but I am very happy with my 70% hatch rate, especially after the PO did it*s darndest to crush the box. Of the 12 you sent, one was broken and the one next to it had what looked like a hairline crack (I pulled that one on day 4 after I was able to candle the lighter eggs and saw that it was scrambled), and now I have 7 babies out of the 10 remaining eggs. I*d call that great fertility, especially on roughly treated shipped eggs!

Anyone feel like putting up an assortment?

I need like 2 dozen eggs in about a week, I hate having to buy a few here, and a few there! Looking for like Barred Rocks, Orps, RIR, Silkies. Marans, Wellsummers, How about a "Buyers Choice" auction?

I hate to end up with just one or two of a breed, or does everyone just have pairs/trio in cages? Obviously, I need a bigger incubator, that would solve my problem, wouldn't it???

If I don't stop looking at all these different breeds, I am going to need a barn just for chickens soon!

I am offering a preorder on eggs from my buff/buff dundotte guineas. I have a few more orders of theirs to send out first, but it should be by the end of next week that I have these, provided they don't stop laying. I only have 2 hens, so 6 eggs will most likely be all you'll get.
