#7 was another light one, though I*m guessing ivory since they are not bright yellow. My fave is the little black one, he even has really dark legs. I hope he*s okay--it took him a long time to hatch and he came out of the smallest of the eggs and he*s noticeably smaller than the others. They are all in their new home and eating and drinking well, so keep your fingers crossed!
I*m letting the bator run for the rest of the day to see if there are any stragglers, but I am very happy with my 70% hatch rate, especially after the PO did it*s darndest to crush the box. Of the 12 you sent, one was broken and the one next to it had what looked like a hairline crack (I pulled that one on day 4 after I was able to candle the lighter eggs and saw that it was scrambled), and now I have 7 babies out of the 10 remaining eggs. I*d call that great fertility, especially on roughly treated shipped eggs!
