BTW, in reference to #2652, the guinea eggs, I just want to mention that if you have a broody hen w/o fertile eggs under her, chickens are great moms for guineas, and my hen raised guineas are much easier to deal with and calmer than my guinea raised or people raised ones.

Just wanted to mention hen-hatching as another option, if you want some guineas.

All I have to offer are mutts. 9+ eggs. Roos are Silver phoenix, buttercup, lakenvelder and silkie. Hens are OEG, delawares, EE, polish, RIR, Cinnamon Queens. Very good fertility and hatch rates here at home. Pics of some of the chicks I have hatched from this mixture. Shipping is $10 with tracking#
