Listing a 10+ assortment of BCM and EE. Currently I have 2 BCM eggs and 3 EE eggs from yesterday plus 2 EE eggs from the 30th. Most of the eggs will be EE.

My marans consist of 2 cocks with 3 hens. 1 cock and 2 hens are feather-legged, the other cock and hen are clean-legged. The eggs are not as dark now as they have been (have been up to an 8 on the Marans scale) but they were VERY dark a few months ago. These hens first started laying in November so I imagine they are nearing the end of their cycles.

The EE eggs are from 3 EE hens. I do not have an EE roo. 1 hen is 'mom' to the other 2. 2 hens lay blue eggs, 1 lays green. There are several possible 'fathers' to these eggs, some being large bantams and some being LF. I have BR, OEG, Cochin LF and bantams, and OEGB (almost as big as the LF OE). Most of the chicks should have the blue egg gene. 1 of the hens seems to be a LF/bantam mix as she is not as big as the other 2 hens. 2 of the eggs I have currently are from her.


Here is a pic taken 2 months ago of some BCM and EE eggs. There are both green and blue EE eggs mixed in the right side among the bantam eggs.
