I have been having similar luck with eggs sent to me this year. I just had three hatch out of 36 shipped eggs.

Don't they realized these are LAVENDER Ameraucanas.

Trish, so sorry to hear.

These are such a gamble having to depend on the PO. Wish there were another way that was practical.

I just got my first shipped eggs ever in on Thursday. The box was in great shape, and the eggs were well packed , no cracks, only 3 slightly wonky air cells. I'm excited and so thankful my PO has been great, they called me first thing in the morning and my Rural carrier left them on his desk for me to pick up. I didn't want to take the chance of him bringing them out and not being home to get them.

I cracked open 6 older eggs this morning from this pen and they all appeared to be fertile, so if they arrived without being traumatized, they should be good to go.
