are guineas wild when they are chicks i have some in the incubator

Not too bad when they first hatch but they are more wild than chicks. But if you mess with them a lot you can tame them down.

The largest bobwhite quail is either the Georgia Giant or the Butler bobwhite, I get the 2 confused. I know JJMR794 has whichever it is, but most (all?) places require a permit to keep bobwhite quail.

10+ Duck eggs~~Pekin, Rouen, Runner

I will have at least 10 eggs from my duck flock to ship on Monday. They all free range together at this time. I have a quad of Rouen ducks (1 drake, 1 crested duck, 2 non-crested ducks) that mainly stick together and away from the rest of the flock.
I've also got a group of 7 Pekin ducks. 1 drake (non-crested) and 2 ducks stay together and away from the rest of the flock. The others are mingled with the runners and occasionally the Rouens. This part of the Pekin flock consists of a crested drake and 3 non-crested ducks. 2 of the pekin ducks are 'in love' with my blue runner drake, the other duck is a floozy and hangs out with anyone who will pay attention to her

Finally, I have a pair of runners. As stated, the blue drake has 2 pekin girlfriends. The fawn & white duck is in love with the crested pekin drake.
I also have 3 young drakes that are starting to figure out that they are boys. They are pekin and cayuga mixed. I have not seem them breeding any of the ducks yet.

Quite the hodge-podge here, but there is a good chance of hatching pure rouen or pekin ducklings!

1 rouen and the runner are currently broody, so the eggs will be from the other 2 Rouens or the 5 Pekins or a combination.

Very fun, but who doesn't love a baby duck?
