crazy american buff

Soooo once again my American Buff girl thinks she needs to lay eggs again in the fall. She did this the last 2 years and lays right on through winter till about feb. then stops for about 8 weeks and starts all over again for the spring. Not sure why she does this, there is NO artificial light at all anywhere and no special feed. Something different this year is I am collecting them and putting them in the incubator for next years fall shows (if they hatch) they have been breeding like crazy!!! My pairs name is Luke and Laura (I know it is a match made only for daytime TV)
*anyone else having geese lay at this time of year, NOTE: we are in Wisconsin

Jeez, I haven't watched General Hospital in 22 years! Are Luke and Laura STILL on?

(eta: Oh yeah, the reason for this thread. I think it's cool that she lays so often during the winter, count yourself lucky
