if you go in the field, he sneaks up on you and sticks his head under your bum and tosses you to the sky! im not sure if hes playing or being aggressive, but hes gotta stop or he could find himsf in the deep freeze!

He may be playing now, but it will soon turn into more than that as he ages. More often than not, a friendly bovine is a dangerous bovine!

Hopefully other cattle people chime in, but I'd definitely start thinking about something to train him to respect your space. I'm not sure what would work the best, but I'm thinking it probably needs to be a bit more drastic to send the message. With intact bulls though, you will probably always need to be on your toes when in the field with them. You never know when they will decide to challenge you! I'm sure you know humans are no match for a 2000 pound animal!

all of our bulls are either intact, or sold for slaughter. we breed!

What are you going in the field to do? I would suggest going in with a vehicle tractor or truck and to stay near it inside the field while doing whatever it is you are doing in there. This way you have a close escape route if need be.
