Crazy chicken lady in the making

Hello! My name is Sevelia.. I’m married and I have 2 children, 2 dogs, 2 cats, a fish, and just added 8 precious baby blue laced red Wyandotte’s to the mix! I have never had chickens before but we recently bought our house that has a chicken coop already set up. I finally worked up the nerve to acquire some chickens. I had no clue what I was in for!!! The past few days have been quite a learning experience. I have been googling things almost constantly desperately searching for help and I have found myself on this website reading through comments more than a few times! I figured I may as well go ahead and join. I seem to have finally gotten my problem sorted out for the moment but I will definitely be coming here for advice as issues arise. I had no idea what an ordeal baby chicks were! They are precious though! Nice to meet you all and thanks for the help I’ve already received here! -Sevelia
