What is the average home chicken farmer selling yard eggs for in this egg crisis? I'm just curious to see what you guys charge. Please note what state your in. Thank you all

Kauai, Hawaii. 100% agree with @fangedknight . Not why I got into chickens. Being a good neighbor & selling eggs way less than most all.

$5 per dozen for these perfectly imperfect beauties. 👇

My mom has started taking unwashed (but clean) ones to school and she has a little jar she puts next to them for donations. People put in a few coins or a buck sometimes when they grab a dozen. Works great for everyone since they get cheap eggs, I get a bit back for feed and I don't have so many eggs in the fridge

I'm wondering if the bubble has burst, here in Michigan, or in my area, anyway. When I first started getting eggs, the "cheap" eggs were $1.89/dozen. The highest I saw was a few weeks ago, when they were $5.09. Last week they were back down to $3.29. These are large eggs, with no claim of "cage free" or anything special.

I don't have enough to sell. The nearest Fresh Egg stand was selling for $3, but then went up to $5. My neighbor sells some if she has extra, but I didn't think to ask her price.
