Yesterday we hatched out 2 chicken chicks and 5 turkey polts under a regular size Chicken (I do it also with my Banty hens).
Today we went and put her and the chicks in a brood pen. I checked her later and she was pecking the babys very bad , it did not make a difference if it was a chick or turkey.
Last week I had a banty hen hatch one turkey and 2 chicks,so I tried and put the new ones with her, she accepted the 6 new ones today and all is fine.
I guess I will keep the Regular hen locked up in a Broddy pen for a week and let the banty raise them.
Anyone else have a problem with a hen before!
