crazy idea..

My human kids eat fruit loops from time to time and it makes their poo technicolor, but doesn't change their egg shell color at all.

I don't know 'bout you, but my kids weren't hatched for me to know what their egg shell color was!!!! LOL!!!

Ooh those Pillsbury "spooky cookies" with the black food coloring gave us some pretty "spooky pookies". My husband and I thought we were ill until we figured out the culprit.

Okay, if you want to get technical.....take some pepto bismal and see what happens to your poo. Or grape kool-aid. I avoid food coloring whenever possible because I'm sensitive to it and I like my life better without migraines, tyvm.

Other than a once in a lifetime experiment I don't think I'd ever give it to my chickens or any of my critters. I don't like the idea of giving them something that's not necessary and is not deemed 100% safe.
