This may have been asked before but here goes. I have a guinea keet >24 hours old. Her leg seems to be stuck in front of her. Is there a way to repair the problem or should we cull?

I'm pretty sure that's splay leg which CAN get better over time but I guess normally it doesnt get better. Hopefully someone with more experience can give you some advice here.

If it is spraddle-leg, it can be fixed with bandaids usually. However, spraddle leg usually is the leg sticking out to the side, or behind, the chick, so I don't think that's what your baby's problem is. Do a search for slipped tendon, spraddle leg, or splay leg (same thing, different name), and maybe you can find something that could help.
