Crazy-making things that your spouse does?

My husband is a great guy and I love him to death but... he cannot remember to throw his trash away! The man will leave an empty can or wadded up paper towel on the counter above the trashcan! How hard is it to open a cabinet door, pull out the trashcan and throw your trash away??

that last post made me laugh! I can't really say that my husband irritates me anymore than I irritate him lol. I'm just happy when hes is home! He works in the oilfield and is gone about 15-20 days out of the month. I probably get on his nerves because I always want more animals. I bought a new chick before Easter to add to our other 4 and I 'forgot' to mention it to him

He's been gone for 17 days and is coming in tomorrow. So we will see if he notices the cute suprise in the brooder! haha

Mine eats the stuff I stock in the work fridge, doesn't tell me, then leaves me stuck all day at the shop will he makes deliveries with nothing to eat and no way to get food.

His other "thing" is to bug me in the morning to make him coffee. Ummm...that's why I spent all that extra money to get you the coffee maker with a TIMER! Then he says it is part of his routine to make coffee so he doesn't want to prep it at night. Ok...fine. So if it is part of your routine, STOP ASKING ME TO MAKE IT FOR YOU! That part of his "routine" could get him killed.

(Otherwise he is wonderful, but either of these things on the wrong day could result in serious harm

My dh is a good guy, and works really hard to support us. But....I wish he would say what he means, and mean what he says. He is constantly saying something other than what he actually means, then denying he ever said that. Get it right the first time, and save me some frustration, please!

You know now that I think about it. My husband isn't the one that irritates me...Its the Mother-In-Law!! I can make a whole new topic about MILs..I bet mine is the worst. Heres a fun fact, right before we got married, she showed me how to fold his underwear....whos does that!!!! I purposely fold them a different way just out of spite. crazy lady...

Oh, I got stories......can't stand my DH's Step-mother..... She is the poster child for Monster - in - Law!

Not to say my mother is a gem - she is not - so DH and I try hard just to avoid family as much as possible.

In social situations my DH is argumentative "for fun."

He just LOVES a debate. He teases my BFF about her work (and she is very serious about her vocation!), so that drives me mad. Yet my friend shrugs it off, saying "He adores you!"
